Lower Fares to Athens from JFK, NY

Hellenic Imperial Airlines has launched it's inaugural schedule with flights between JFK and NY for as low as $850 round trip. Flights depart on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday starting on June 24, 2011. Flights leave NY at 930pm and depart Athens at 530pm.

The flight numbers are 411 and 412, the airline pilots are from Olympic and the planes will be A-340's which were the same planes that Olympic Airways used.... so, it appears to be the old Olympic Airways re-vamped and ready to go.

Hopefully this will be a shot in the arm to the competitive prices that have all disappeared now that Olympic Airways is gone. We'll see, but for now I found some great fares!
